No
I've been getting asked a lot if I blame anyone for the lengthy time getting a diagnosis for my problems, or if I'm upset that specialists and doctors I saw before I ended up going to the hospital didn't send me for an MRI sooner, or notice that something was VERY WRONG.
I've been surprised to find myself at peace with the way things happened - usually, Doctors and those in the medical fields apply Occam's Razor to figure out what is wrong and since my case is being presented to the Tumour Board on Wednesday the 14th (tomorrow, on the day of me writing this), I think it's pretty safe to say Occam's Razor wouldn't have helped at all in this case.
My GP did SO much for me too, and I would recommend him to anyone looking for a family doctor. He believed me when I told him about my numbness and dizziness, and sent me to see a physiotherapist, to the urgent eye clinic, and to an audiologist. Eventually, the steps he took would have landed me with an MRI and the same outcome, had I not had rapidly gotten worse last week and had to go to the hospital.
I would like to give a shoutout to my physiotherapist, for noticing that my left eye wasn't tracking properly and prompting me to look further into what could be wrong, and of course a shoutout to my dear friend Vanessa for convincing me to go to the hospital when I did.
So, no, I'm not mad about the way things happened. I'm just glad I'm getting treated now.
