For those of you who don't know, a couple of months ago a friend of mine from Highschool, Rogan and I started a podcast, Arcana Archives. We do a weekly deep dive into something nerdy and talk about things we're passionate about!
It's been a really fun passion project, and thanks to Rogan doing 90% of the work, I'm hoping I'll be able to keep doing it through my treatment. I can sit in a dark room and just talk and leave the rest to my amazing co-host.
Today we did an unplanned update episode about my condition if you want to actually hear me talk about it, you can find it wherever you get your podcasts!
I feel a little guilty about it, because I'm off work while I adjust to a new lifestyle, but I guess there's a big difference between sitting and talking versus looking at a computer screen (which is really difficult for me to do, and Andy is on standby to help with this website, which I make changes to in small, very manageable doses.)
I guess another huge part of having a brain tumour is the mental health side of things - I have to make sure I monitor my attitude and how I'm handling everything, so I can FIGHT Chad with everything I have. So it's probably good for me to be off work, and only doing the little things that I can handle doing on a day-to-day basis.
Hopefully, my treatment will go well and I won't experience adverse effects and I'll be able to keep adding on more things until I'm back to leading a normal life and doing ALL the things I love to do.
